Lee, known as the "Gateway to the Berkshires". It is in the center of it all, and has developed quite a following in its own right. Downtown Lee can boast of a dozen restaurants, including Cafe Triskele for a European feel, 51 Park for pub fare, Starving Artist for your morning coffee and scone(toasted with butter!), Just Lunch for the Lobster Roll and Joe's Diner for a Norman Rockwell favorite. And new for your dining pleasure: Station Gastropub, hardy eclectic, Agave, new Mexican, with a great bar and Lee's Corner Kitchen, a great breakfast and lunch spot.
Do some shopping along Main Street for antiques, farmers market, sportswear and Tchotchkes! and yes, we can't forget the outlet mall.
Swimming/Kayaks - Get out on Goose Pond, Laurel Lake or take a Kayak down the Housatonic!
Hiking - jump on the Appalachian Trail at several points, including Goose Pond and Greenwater Pond Dam; Basin Pond Trail for a nice walk through the forest and brooks.
