Favorite Restaurants - Summer
Since there are so many great restaurants in the Berkshires to choose from, let's do this town by town. Most of our focus is on Lenox, Stockbridge, Lee and Great Barrington since they are in the location circle, but there are many great restaurants that we will mention a few in a wider radius if you are up for a little more of the drive. We update our recommendations by season as there are some great spots that come alive a few seasons a year.
Lee - let's start here, since we can walk to these from the house:
Cafe Triskele - Owned by two chefs - Rebecca and Gilbert Clerget, they will bring you some delicious, casual European cuisine. Chances are one or both will be there to make you feel at home.
51 Park Restaurant and Tavern - Just a two-block stroll from Berkshire House Stay, enjoy indoor or outdoor pub fare brought to you by a friendly staff. And make sure to get one of the desserts.
Station Lee Gastropub - Takes pride in crafting exceptional dishes using the best ingredients, ensuring every bite is fresh, flavorful, and memorable.
Lenox - 5 miles north with a dozen restaurants in a 3 block radius:
Alta - Inspired Mediterranean dishes paired with wines from around the globe and served in a casual yet elegant atmosphere with top notch service.
Firefly - Very nice spot in the heart of Lenox. Good food, great vibe and excellent cocktails! Sit on the porch if you have the chance.
Cello - Seasonally inspired - the menu changes often, shaped by the rhythms of local farms and the creative spark of the kitchen team.
Great Barrington - These are within a lovely fifteen minute drive.
Steam Noodle Cafe - This noodle pure comfort food — soups and dumplings, steamed buns, spring rolls. A bowl of Thai noodle soup is spectacular, mild on the spice and rich with chicken and vegetables.
Prairie Whale - Mark and Bettina provide the meals from an ever evolving circle of vegetable and livestock farmers, cheesemakers, and foragers which have helped build the Whale's reputation as a true farm to table restaurant.
Aegean Greek - Chef George Cami has mastered the art of blending both traditional Greek cuisine and American flavors creating a delectably diverse palate for the Aegean patrons to enjoy.

Dream Away Lodge in Becket. Not only will you enjoy some homestyle cooking, but there is amazing music most days.
Gedney Kitchen in New Marlborough - The chef, Michelle Ragussis, will ensure you have a delicious farm to table meal in this very open concept restaurant.
