We take our morning fuel seriously around here, and these neighborhood gems elevate the simple cup of coffee into an art form. Here are our favorite local spots to grab your daily fix.
🚶♀️ Right in Lee (Walkable from the House)
Roll out of bed and head down Main Street for your first sip of the day.
- Bliss: A wonderful local stop for a latte and muffin. It’s a great spot to swing by if you want something sweet and caffeinated in a relaxing atmosphere.
- Starving Artist Creperie: While they serve incredible full breakfasts, they are also a fantastic stop if you just want a specialty latte, a quick espresso, or a light morning treat in a cozy, artsy environment. (my fav: toasted blueberry scone, toasted with butter)
- Lee’s Corner Kitchen: A solid go-to for a reliable breakfast and, most importantly, they do great espresso drinks to get your day started.
- Rose’s: The hometown classic. Come for the friendly neighborhood vibe, stay for a warm, decadent chocolate croissant perfectly paired with one of their espresso drinks.
🌳 In Lenox & West Stockbridge (5-8 Mins)
Pop over to our neighboring towns for premium brews and artisanal baking.
- Patisserie Lenox (Lenox): This is the spot for an authentic, high-end bakery experience. They offer exquisite, French-style pastries and beautiful espresso drinks in a lovely village setting.
- Depot Six (West Stockbridge): Located in a cool, historic space, this local favorite offers exceptional coffee, a creative vibe, and a great community atmosphere. It's the perfect stop before checking out the West Stockbridge art galleries.
🏛️ In Stockbridge (Just 5 Minutes Away)
Stop by these historic-town favorites right down the road.
- The Lost Lamb: A stunning, classic French patisserie right on the historic main strip. Step inside for impeccably made croissants, colorful macarons, and beautiful buns.Local Tip: They don’t serve espresso here, but on grab a coffee and do not miss the pastries!
- Stockbridge Coffee & Tea: A local staple for your morning brew. Whether you want a simple cup of coffee, a premium tea, or a quick snack, this is the perfect place to pause while exploring downtown Stockbridge.

- Cafe Holli: Come here for a delicious, fresh crepe and a coffee. It’s a fantastic, cozy spot that offers a little something different for your morning routine.
- Odd Bird: A must-visit for pastry lovers. They have incredible baked goods that are well worth the trip. Local Tip: They don’t serve espresso here, but on grab a coffee and do not miss the pastries!
- Isle Coffee: The new kid on the block! They are already making waves with a fresh, modern coffee menu. Definitely the place to check out if you want to try the latest and greatest local brew.
🚗 Worth the Morning Drive (Heading North)
If you are taking a scenic drive up north, these two standout spots are absolute must-visits.
- Dottie’s Coffee Lounge (Pittsfield): A vibrant, high-energy community hub. Dottie's serves up fantastic specialty coffee, incredible house-made baked goods, and a great eclectic atmosphere that makes you want to hang out all morning.
- Second Roasters (Lanesborough): Tucked a bit further north, this hidden gem is perfect for true coffee enthusiasts. They focus heavily on high-quality beans and precision roasting, making it an incredible stop if you're exploring the northern Berkshires or Mt. Greylock.
